A Fernandes Burny RLG-50 '59 Model(RLG-50-59). This color is presented as “COS” which expresses “tea burst” color of faded original ‘Burst.

Fernandes presented “The Revival Series” for sales of Gibson and Fender imitations about from 1981 to 1988.

The Les Paul models started by inheriting previous year model FLG-90/150/240 from 1981.  Next year, all models were renewed and the name FLG was changed to RLG, and new lineup RLG-50/90/120/150 was started to sale.  In 1984, RLG-60 which was so to speak RLG-50 with dressing board top, was added to the lineup.

Three-piece back is a little disappointing, but the other specifications are satisfactory.  2 pieces hard maple top, frets edge binding, nickel hardware, they are beyond its price.

Pickups have yellow metal base and black wire, indicate VH-4 pickup produced later half period of the series.  4.46kg(includes strings). (Updated 2016.8.20)
