Aria Pro II EG-1400 1980
Aria Pro II EG-1400, made in 1980.
This is a copy model of the B.C. Rich Eagle guitar. At that time, Aria and Fernandes were primarily manufacturing high-quality B.C. Rich copy models.
This guitar is made of a 5-piece maple body and an ebony fingerboard. Although it has a thinner body, it feels quite dense and heavy when lifted. It features a through-neck construction similar to the original, but under indoor lighting, the seams of the wood are not easily noticeable.
The sound is solid and has a long sustain, as one would expect from its materials and construction. It is equipped with DiMarzio Dual Sound pickups and Grover Imperial 150C tuners. The weight is 4.06 kg (including strings). (Updated on June 16, 2016)
