A Greco EG-1000B.
Imprinted number "25826" on the back side of pickups indicate that they were installed on August 26,1975. Greco Les Pauls made in 1975 were characterized by stout logo like this.
In those days, a Japanese guitarist “Kazuo Takeda” who belonged to popular band “Creation” played it, so EG-1000Bs seem to have been sold more than the other high grade Les Pauls. But recently I seldom see them.
The only difference between EG-1000B and EG-1000R(cherry sunburst) is color?, it’s wrong. EG-1000R has two pieces maple top, on the other hand this one has three pieces top. In case of Greco, multi-piece top was usually adapted on opaque finish guitar. 4.51kg(includes strings). (Updated 2016.8.23)
