1981 Aria Pro II PE-R60

This guitar features a vivid red finish, designated SR (See-Through Red) in the catalog. The sleek, contoured body and graceful front and back curves are hallmarks of the PE-R series. Unlike the higher-end models, the PE-R60 and PE-60 have a flat back similar to a Les Paul, giving them a slightly thicker, more solid feel.

The PE-R80 is particularly popular, with its three-layer maple–mahogany–maple construction and brass nut, producing a tone that emphasizes the mid and high frequencies. Yet, some players prefer a warmer, fuller low end—and this model delivers exactly that.
